The 2009 Promise Ball was a wonderful success raising $1.4 Million for diabetes research. The Children’s Project, a hand-blown glass chandelier, raised $100,000 in the live auction, which was a record for our chapter. Because the event was the 10 Year Anniversary of the gala in San Antonio, the past chairs united to co-chair the event. Our thanks go out to all volunteers and donors who made the event a night we will all remember for many years to come!

This year the South Central Texas Chapter of The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is funding the Artificial Pancreas Project.
